Bloxham Parish Council – Summary of February 2010 Meeting

SUMMARY OF FEBRUARY MEETING (held on 1.2.10)
Present: There were 10 Parish Councillors present and also County Councillor Mitchell. District Councillor Heath.
Planning Applications: Cllr Heath noted that all objections to planning applications must have planning reasons.
First floor side extension for 10 Painters Close, Change of use of disused agricultural buildings to cookery school for Bloxham Grove Farm, Conversion etc of roof space for 1 The Pound, removal of existing glass roof and replacement for Killowen House, South Newington Rd – No objections from Parish Council. 61 Houses on Milton Rd south site: Objection from Parish Council
Planning decisions from CDC: Hours of veterinary surgery relaxed, Single storey extension for 59 Courtington Lane, Rear two storey extension for 10 Strawberry Terrace: Agreed subject to conditions. Lifting crown of Beech Tree for Bloxham Fish Bar: Agreed.
Parish Plan: report received on ongoing developments: Steering group had decided on format of Parish Plan developed at Milcombe.
Youth Group: continues to develop; Volunteers needed to run club in Jubilee Park Hall.
Annual Meeting:  to be held in April (Date to be arranged.)
Elections: All councillors due to be elected this May.
Next Meeting 1st March at 7.30pm, in the Parish Rooms
The agenda is posted on the Notice boards in the village before this. Any resident can attend and if there are any issues they wish to raise, this can be done at the beginning of the meeting.
