On 8th March 2017 Ofsted completed a Short inspection of Bloxham Church of England Primary School. The report has just been published.
The letter setting out the results of the inspection – the first carried out since the school was judged to be good in February 2012 – makes clear the school continues to achieve well offering a calm and orderly environment and setting high expectations.

As a church school the primary school has also experienced a statutory inspection of anglican and methodist schools (SIAMS) on 15th March 2017.
SIAMS takes account both of academic performance and additionally the spiritual and religious aspects of school life.
The inspector judged the school remains at its previous grading of Outstanding.
Early in the report the inspector highlights the “rapid progress in learning by all pupils”.
The report also comments upon the inspirational leadership of the senior leadership team which results in ‘very high standards of behaviour and high quality relationships across the school’.
