Katharine House Hospice Spring Sale – 5th April

The hospice will be holding its annual Spring Sale between 10.30 am and 1,30 pm on Saturday 5th April at The Institute in Adderbury. As usual, there will be a variety of donated new merchandise, craft items, books, toys, a cake stall, a raffle and refreshments. Come and find yourself a bargain!
2008 Spring Fair- Tuesday 13th May
Katharine House will be holding its established Spring Fair at the Great Barn Aynho, near Banbury. There will be a wide selection of stalls on show, and course, a great variety of high quality plants and garden sundries. Delicious light lunches will also be served. Last year, almost 500 people attended this prestige event, so make it a date for your diary! Doors open at 10am.
HMS Pinafore Concert
Another date for your diary! Banbury Operatic Society will be holding a performance of Arthur Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore (with full audience participation) at St Mary’s Church, Banbury on Saturday 17th May in aid of the hospice. This promises to be a great evening for all the family. Tickets will be on sale at One Man Band, at £10 each (£8 concessions and children £5). Doors open at 7.30pm
Wardington Manor Open Gardens
The Lady Wardington will be opening the beautiful four acre gardens to the public on Sunday 18th May, between 2pm and 5pm. The Open Gardens day will be first occasion since the devastating fire at the Manor in 2004, that the public will be able to enjoy these beautiful gardens. Entry will be £5 per person (children 1 and cream teas will be available for a small charge in the Village Hall nearby.
The Midnight Walk 28th June 2008
Preparations for our 2008 Midnight Walk are well under way and application forms are now available. These can be obtained by calling Sarah  Alternatively, they can also be downloaded from website www.khh.org.uk Please book your place early to avoid disappointment We would also be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to help on night of the walk. Last year, over 100 volunteers helped to make the walk a fantastic success raising £69,500, from route marshalls and caterers to admin helpers. Please call Sarah for further details
