Odds & Ends

Meet Annie Murray – 4th Apr 2018

ANNIE MURRAY was born in Berkshire and read English at St John’s College, Oxford. Her first Birmingham novel, Birmingham Rose, hit The Times bestseller list when it was published in 1995.
Her recently published trilogy, War Babies, Now the War is Over and The Doorstep Child, about Birmingham families, were each paperback bestsellers.
Sisters of Gold, her latest, set in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter in its Edwardian heyday will be out in February 2018 in hardback, April in paperback.
Annie has also recently published a ‘debut’ novel as ABI OLIVER – A New Map of Love. It is a quirky, tender love story, set on the Berks/Oxon borders, during the hot summer of 1964.
Annie will speak about the joys and sorrows of writing and will also talk about her latest book.
