The proposed site is immediately adjacent to both the proposed Gladman development and the partially completed Woodland Park development and opposite the slightly earlier development along the North of the Milton Road. If the two most recent applications are approved then together these 4 urban style developments would represent the addition of around 300 extra families to Bloxham within just a few years. Approval would risk irreversibly destroying the pleasant rural character of the village, threatening access to both local primary and secondary schools for Bloxham families and straining our already creaking (and essentially unchanging) utilities and transport infrastructure.

Developers take the cash and walk away. We have to live with the long-term consequences! Bloxham is obviously perceived as a ‘soft target’ by developers. If you value living in a village and don’t want Bloxham to become a satellite, urban-style housing estate for Banbury then you will need to make your voice heard – again!

Note from the Parish Council to Bloxham residents Bloxham Parish Council wish to alert residents that – Frampton’s have lodged a planning application with Cherwell […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[6,94,9

post-17028","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-council","category-developments","category-miscellany
"1536x1536":false,"2048x2048":false
featured@2x":false
featured-fixed@2x":false
featured-cat@2x":false
single-featured@2x":false
Note from the Parish Council to Bloxham residents Bloxham Parish Council wish to alert residents that – Frampton’s have lodged a planning application with Cherwell […]
["GET
