Plan Meeting &#8211; Sept 10th 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Woodcote (S.Oxon) has almost finished its Neighbourhood Plan and the coordinator of this plan has agreed to come along and talk us through how they addressed the various issues.<br \/>\nThis meeting has a strict limit on the audience size because of the venue and is aimed primarily at those Bloxham residents actively engaged in the various working groups.<br \/>\nThere are, however, (literally) one or two places left.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to attend this meeting to find out more about the Neighbourhood Planning Process #ffff00;\"><strong>DO NOT just turn up on the night as it is unlikely we will be able to accommodate you.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This meeting is not about the progress of the Bloxham Plan.\u00a0 There will be a public Meeting on this that is open to all residents probably around late October \/ early November.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a src=\"http:\/\/bloxham.info\/broadsheet\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/NDP_Logo_w.jpg\" width=\"230\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><b>Talk by Geoff Botting <\/b><br \/>\n<b>At Bloxham Mill<\/b><br \/>\n<b>On Tuesday September 10<sup>th<\/sup> at 7:15 pm<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b>Geoff is coordinator of Woodcote Neighbourhood Plan.\u00a0 Woodcote is a village in the south of Oxfordshire not dissimilar to Bloxham in many respects.<br \/>\nThe Woodcote Plan is nearing completion and Geoff will talk us through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>how they set about it;<\/li>\n<li>what they found easier and harder than expected;<\/li>\n<li>how they consulted the community on key issues;<\/li>\n<li>how they managed to maintain engagement with the community;<\/li>\n<li>what support the local district council provided;<\/li>\n<li>what preparation was needed for the validation procedures;<\/li>\n<li>how much it cost;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and lots more.<br \/>\nThe format will be as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A presentation by Geoff (probably around 30 minutes)<\/li>\n<li>Gather into working groups to formulate questions (10\u201315 minutes)<\/li>\n<li>Plenary Question \/ Answer session (around 30 minutes)<\/li>\n<li>Session ends (around 8:30)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This is a fantastic chance to listen to someone who has managed to steer a route through the neighbourhood planning process.<br \/>\nIt won\u2019t provide \u201ca recipe\u201d but it should offer some highly useful insights.\u00a0 Everyone is \u2018inventing the process\u2019 as they go along but here is a chance
