{"id":355,"date":"2008-11-01T01:49:38","date_gmt":"2008-11-01T00:49:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.studylynx.co.uk\/WordPress\/?p=302"},"modified":"2008-11-01T01:49:38","modified_gmt":"2008-11-01T00:49:38","slug":"community-transport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bloxham.info\/broadsheet\/community-transport\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Transport"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"float:right; padding 10px; \"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-307\" title=\"dialaride2\" src=\"http:\/\/bloxham.info\/broadsheet\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/dialaride2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"71\" height=\"47\" \/><\/div>\n<p><strong>Dial-a-Ride <\/strong>is a door to door bus service operated by Banburyshire Community Transport Association with grant funding from this Council and other agencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What the service is for: Eligibility<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Dial-a-Ride service is for passengers who fall within one or more of the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>passengers of any age with mobility difficulties; people of any age with visual difficulties;<\/li>\n<li>people with severe learning difficulties (provided the person can travel on their own or is provided with an escort throughout the journey);<\/li>\n<li>elderly frail people or others who experience significant difficulties in using conventional public transport;<\/li>\n<li>escorts and guides travelling with a registered user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Passengers will be asked to register with BCTA before they begin using the service. To do this please contact BCTA on 01295 273086 or bcta@msn.com.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dial-a-ride schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note: you need to book the day before you want to travel. For journeys on Mondays please telephone and make a booking on the Friday before.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Banbury<\/strong><br \/>\nEvery weekday in Banbury between 9am and 5pm. Travel from outlying villages into Banbury is also possible on Wednesdays and Thursdays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call Dial-a-Ride<\/strong> Banbury on 01295 263777.
