Present<\/strong>: There were Nine Parish Councillors present.<\/p>\n

Bus Shelter<\/strong> had been badly damaged but has now been repaired.<\/p>\n

Bloxham School Meeting<\/strong> This took place with members of Bloxham School took place 7th October.<\/p>\n

Police<\/strong>: Clerk had raised issue of NAGS, and Neighbourhood Watch among other items at Police Surgery at Bodicote on 22nd October.<\/p>\n

Inf<\/strong>ormation re dog\/litter bins<\/strong> to be obtained from village survey already done by councillors.<\/p>\n

Concern <\/strong>expressed that various issues are being referred to District, County Councillors and to MP which could or already have been dealt with by Parish Council. Noted that residents do have the right to refer to other elected members.<\/p>\n

Meeting with Jubilee Park Management Committe<\/strong>e\u00a0 – took place on 22nd October. Response sent about Pharmacy application for village.<\/p>\n

Planning: Core Strategy<\/strong> – Parish Council’s response to be formulated by subgroup.<\/p>\n

Applications <\/strong>with sub groups comments: Reduction of trees for Walnut Tree House, Goose Walk, St Mary’s Church, The Chantry, Church St: No objection; Removal of asbestos etc, from Mildura House, King’s Rd – No objection as long as asbestos removed safely; 2 storey house by 15a High St: Objected due to extra traffic, and conservation area.<\/p>\n

Decisions <\/strong>from CDC and OCC: Tree Preservation Order; Ash Tree at 60 Tad-marton Rd; Reduction of Lime Tree for Sunnyside, High St and felling of Conifer for Cranham Cottage, Queen St: Both granted.
\nExtension for offices and renewal of consent for two double prefabricated classrooms for Warriner School – Granted by OCC.<\/p>\n

Finance<\/strong>: Final audit by external auditor agreed.<\/p>\n

Date of next meeting<\/strong>: Monday 1st December in Parish Rooms at 7.00pm when representative of Electricity Board will attend. The agenda is posted on the Notice boards in the village before this. Any resident can attend and if there are any issues they wish to raise, this can be done at the beginning of the meeting. \nRecently residents have, as is their right, been referring matters to District Councillors County Councillors and also Member of Parliament. These matters could have, or already have been, dealt with by Parish Council which is the first tier of government. The Parish Council will always refer matters on if there is no satisfaction obtained initially If residents are referring directly, it would be helpful if the Parish Council could be told o the matter at the same time, so that a) they are aware and b) they may be able to add othe information that may be known to them.
