There are 12 boys in the final and nine girls. Bloxham has two participants in the finals from the same family, namely 18 year old Katherine O&#8217;Connor in the girls&#8217; competition and her 15 year old brother Steven in the boys.<br \/>\nWe believe this to be a unique occurrence and a quite magnificent achievement. Katherine has also become the first female to win a scholarship to an elite golf school, at the Celtic Manor Golf Club the home for the 2010 Ryder Cup in Newport, Gwent. Katherine is studying for a degree in Sports Coaching at The University of Wales, Newport and believes the scholarship will complement her studies. She has already represented Wales in both adult and junior teams.
