\u201cEinstein and the Refugee Scholars in Oxford<\/p>\n

How did the \u2018Einstein Blackboard\u2019 come to be a prize possession of Oxford\u2019s Museum of the History of Science?<\/p>\n

This is the story of Einstein\u2019s visits to Oxford in the 1930s, his reception and his significance. Discover the role played by Oxford Elniversity and the Society for the Protection of Science and Learning in saving scholars fleeing from the Nazis. Finally, find out about the lives, contributions and legacies of the refugee scholars themselves. Victoria Bentata is an Oxford graduate, an
\nOxford Tour Guide, and has a special interest in the contribution of refugee scholars to Oxford University.<\/p>\n

All are very welcome.<\/p>\n

Admission: free for members (\u00a313 annual sub);
