The work will be completed when the weather improves. The Parish Council thanks residents\u00a0 for their patience whilst the project progresses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Draft Modified Bloxham\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Neighbourhood Plan <\/strong>\u2014 Cherwell\u00a0\u00a0District Council\u2019s consultation period on\u00a0\u00a0the Draft Plan started on Monday 8\u00a0\u00a0December 2025 and ends on Sunday 1\u00a0\u00a0February 2026. Information is available\u00a0\u00a0online on CDC\u2019s web site and paper copies\u00a0\u00a0of the Plan are available at Adderbury\u00a0\u00a0Library, White Lion Caf\u00e9 and the CDC\u00a0\u00a0offices in Castle Quay in Banbury.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual Parish Meeting <\/strong>\u2014 The<\/p>\n<p>Bloxham Annual Parish Meeting is being\u00a0\u00a0held on Wednesday 22 April 2026 at 7pm\u00a0\u00a0at Jubilee Hall, Bloxham. All residents\u00a0\u00a0are invited along to hear about the work\u00a0\u00a0of the Parish Council over the last 12\u00a0\u00a0month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean Woodcock MP <\/strong>\u2014 A number\u00a0\u00a0of actions were agreed at the meeting\u00a0\u00a0with Sean Woodcock MP on 7 November 2025, but the Parish Council has yet to receive an update on\u00a0 their progress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Tyrrell Recreation Ground <\/strong>\u2014 Three Parish Councillors and the Clerk will be\u00a0 attending a meeting of the Trustees to establish the support which is required to secure the future of\u00a0 the Recreation Ground. A couple of members of the community have already volunteered to help and if\u00a0 anyone else is interested, please contact the Clerk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elections <\/strong>\u2014 There are Parish Council elections on Thursday 7 May 2026. If any residents are\u00a0 interested in standing as a Councillor and would like to join our friendly team, please contact the Clerk for\u00a0 more information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mailing List <\/strong>\u2014 The Parish Council has set up a mailing list to enable residents to be regularly\u00a0 updated on issues affecting the village. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please visit the\u00a0 Parish Council website to sign up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Traffic Calming <\/strong>\u2014 The Traffic Calming Working Group is continuing to work on a number of\u00a0 projects, including the outstanding yellow lining on Courtington Lane and traffic issues around the Primary\u00a0 School and Secondary Schools. If residents drive to the Schools, please park considerately as there are\u00a0 many example of dangerous parking around these areas. Please also avoid blocking Ells Lane with parked\u00a0 vehicles. The Community Speed Watch Scheme is continuing to monitor traffic speeds around the village.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas Tree <\/strong>\u2014 John Wyatt is thanked for providing the village Christmas Tree again this year\u00a0 and for the help from his staff to erect it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorial Bench <\/strong>\u2014 A memorial bench will be located at the end of Gascoigne Way, dedicated to\u00a0 Bill Richardson who recently passed away, subject to permission from the County Council. The Parish\u00a0 Council will be working with the Royal British Legion and Bill\u2019s family on the details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parish Council Meetings at Jubilee Hall, small meeting room, 7.00pm:\u00a0 02.02.26, 02.03.26 &amp; 13.04.26\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Drop-In and Chat at Ex-Servicemen\u2019s Hall, 1030am to 1130am on the\u00a0 second Saturday of the
