\nWe had such an exciting December, joining in with all of the Christmas festivities. The children enjoyed putting the Christmas tree up in the Pre School room, making snowflakes, decorating Christmas baubles for their families, creating Christmas cards and singing Christmas songs.
\nThe children also did amazingly well performing their Christmas Nativity play, ‘Sleepy Shepherd’ to their grown-ups. They had been learning lots of songs and the story behind the play for weeks beforehand and they performed like “Stars’ on the day. We are so proud of them all.
\nAt the start of December, the children visited Godswell Care Home and joined in with a lovely morning of Christmas crafts with the residents. We also had a visit from the local Policing team. They discussed the importance of safety in public with the children, and all of the children were lucky enough to have their fingerprints taken and placed into a keyring.
\nA few days before we broke up for the Christmas break, the children went on a coach with the staff to the Warwick Arts Theatre to watch ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’. They were brilliant the whole day, listened well, enjoyed the play and were very excited going on the coach!
\nAt the start of January, we welcomed some new starters who have settled in well. We are excited to share our Bloxham Pre School journey with you.
\nWe are your village Pre School and would love to make more links with the local community. If you have anything that you would like to come and share with us, we would love to hear from you. Previously we have had a visit from Bloxham Museum, people coming in to talk about jobs that they do etc nursing. We also had a parent who worked updating Ordnance survey maps. The children love to have visitors, and you would be most welcome.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
