As a result of the July 2007 floods and more recent floods in December 2008 a Flood Action Group has been set-up to tackle the issues and concerns of Bloxham residents. We would be pleased to raise your individual concerns on your behalf with the various authorities.
If you would like to join our group of 10 people so far, we would be very happy to welcome you on board! We currently do not have anyone who represents Courtington Lane.
Look out for the follow-up meeting being organised by the Parish Council in April. Notices will appear in the village shortly. Please come along and support our quest to alleviate flooding in Bloxham, as you never know you could be the next one to be flooded!
We as a Group are also looking for sponsorship to cover small costs such as postage, paper, lap-top computer, etc. If you can help with sponsorship, please contact Penny on the telephone number below. Contact Tony Cox (Chairman) or Penny Guy (Secretary)
FLOODING Next Meeting for the village on this emotive subject is planned for 28th April at 7.30pm in Jubilee Park Hall.
