Parish Council-Notes -Aug 2008

Attendance: There were eight Parish Councillors present and Cllr Eric Heath. No residents were present. Cllr Heath is investigating the rumour about travellers moving onto Courtington lane site.
Crossing by Warriner School: Letter from Steve Howell had answered complaint. Bus stops by Warriner School to be moved away from crossing either side of A361.

Bench by Court House – Estimates to be obtained .
Trouble by bench in Cumberford Close being investigated by police and ownership of land being determined.
Jubilee Park: Parish Council to meet cost of Financial Liability Insurance for Trustees of Jubilee Park Management Committee. Donation of £1600 to be given to Trustees of Recreation Ground towards safety surface for swings. Secretary for Recreation Ground to be advised to write to Highways about Disability access to Recreation Ground
Planning Applications: No objections raised by sub group to replacing cattle building for Happy Valley farm, the addition of two roof lights for the Old Barn, Cumberford, removal of existing bungalow and replacement by two storey building for Little orchard, Chapel St, two storey rear extension for 35 Schofields Way, Land adjacent to 60 Tadmarton Rd. Two applications relating to Warriner School were being circulated, as was the erection of new high wall for 6 Chipperfield Park Rd which had meant change of use to residential use.
Decisions received from CDC were three agreements subject to conditions for 27 Bradford Court, 5 Courtington lane and 14 Bloxham Court.
Emergency Plan for Bloxham: It is planned to complete this by 1st November and for contact details to be on website, etc.
Oxfordshire Association for the Blind. Grant of £100 made. Chairman attended Police meeting to do with Neighbourhood Action Groups David Godfrey, Parish Clerk
