Present: There were Eight Parish Councillors present. Cllr Mitchell and one resident were present for part of meeting.
Electricity: Representatives of Electricity Board attended and updated re electricity problems and developments in Bloxham.
Deaths: of Chas Finch and Stuart Cruickshank marked by minute’s silence. All agreed that their work for village should be marked.
Concern: expressed about state of house at corner of Hawke passage on Little Green.
Potential sitings: of new Dog/Litter Bins to be determined. Freedom of Information Act: Resolution adopted re publicising information. Moveable Vehicle Activated Speed Sign to be installed on Barford Rd. Waiting for more information re second site.
Planning: Applications: Reduction of tree for Bloxham School and extensions relating to developments at Godswell House: No objection by Parish Council. Decisions from CDC: Pollarding of trees for St Mary’s Church and removal of asbestos roof for Mildura Cottage, Kings Rd: Agreed. Preservation order placed on 6 Poplars in Recreation Ground.
Parish Plan: Questionnaire now completed and at printers and planned to be distributed by 18th January and written up by end of April.
Emergency Plan for Bloxham: Still awaiting replies from OCC.
Budget and Precept: for coming Financial Year to be set at next meeting.
Annual Meeting of Village: Chairman of Horton Group to be invited.
