Present: There were 9 Parish Councillors present and Cllrs Mitchell and Heath (for part of meeting).
Three residents were also present for part of meeting.
Flooding: Jim Sokol from Environment Agency spoke about the causes of recent flooding in village and
that basically the Brook was in a good condition. He will be present at the follow up meeting
on 28th April in Jubilee Park Hall at 7.30pm
Graffiti and Vandalism: in Winters Way area was raised by two residents.
Ditch on A361: Clerk has sent letters to Mainstay (group who manage Crabtree Close) re state the ditch since they are responsible. No reply received.
Bench: in memory of son of John Cooke, Hogg End: Clerk to acknowledge letter.
Planning: Decisions by CDC: Sign for Co-op agreed subject to conditions.
Applications: Felling of sycamore tree for St Mary’s Lodge, Two storey extension for 4 Brookside Way, replacement of single storey annexe for Pophleys, Banbury Rd, and single storey rear extension for Ashley Cottage, Cumberford: No objection to these by sub group.
Annual Village survey: to be carried out by Parish Councillors.
Lighting: Proposal by OCC to switch some street lights off 12.30am to 5.30am – for consideration.
Correspondence: included refusal of applications for Pharmacies in village, and details of Banbury Rural Neighbourhood Team (Police).
Next Meeting: will be 6th April at 6.45pm in the Parish Rooms, as Primary School wish to discuss the updated Travel Plan, and Warriner School to discuss developments, including possible request for floodlighting of a pitch. The agenda is posted on the Notice boards in the village before this. Any resident can attend and if there are any issues they wish to raise, this can be done at the beginning of the meeting.
