The Old School was once its venue
Then the Beauchamp Squash Club followed suit
Now Bloxham Parish Rooms are the new
Place where Bridge has taken its root.
It’s only £2 for the night
Where else could you get such value?
Little grey cells work all of their might
And you meet lots of nice people too.
It’s a far better game than
Whist (You can learn it at college or home)
I don’t know how you can resist
It’s better than watching TV alone.
We play Rubber, not Duplicate
Competitions per month happen twice
And Chicago is also a date
Thursdays at 7.15, to be precise.

Take heart, don’t be afraid
You’ll meet diamond geezers and gels
You won’t need your garden spade
Join the club, just bring your brain cells.
