BUILDING OUR FUTURE

As reported in the November Broadsheet, St Mary’s Building Our Future project has transformed the usability of the church building, with new facilities including kitchen, WCs and a new performance platform, all behind beautiful curved oak screens. These upgrades make St Mary’s more welcoming and adaptable for both worship and community events activities. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Christmas Tree Festival (Fri 6-Sun 8 December) which will make full use of the new facilities; we’re sure it will be the best yet!

Thanks to incredible community support, we’ve been able to complete this most important stage of the works. Including the new heating system, some £700,000 has been invested in the project to date. But £140,000 needs to be raised to finish our fundraising. We’re inviting everyone to help by contributing to our Christmas appeal and to leave your own Christmas message.
