We all know that the Gladman  Barford Road development was approved on 23rd September 2013 subject to a six week period during which CDC have to decide whether to launch a judicial review.

Anyone who has read the document offering approval of the  development will have also read the 16 conditions imposed at the end of the decision.
Nine  of these have sentences starting with “No development shall take place until.…”    followed by requuirements to agree more detail on drainage systems, landscape impacts, flood-risk assessment and minimisation, play areas, etc etc.

It’s therefore  interesting to see diggers already at work in the field!

Let’s hope Mr Pickles, who recently voiced such concern for “justice for developers” at this site shows equal concern for justice for residents because we can assure you we will be watching compliance VERY closely!
