I love my garden. I am not very knowledgeable about names, Latin or otherwise, but I do know one weed from another and what suits the conditions in my garden.
Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to potter in the garden or the greenhouse. To walk around and spotting a plant pushing its head through the soil, especially when I had forgotten its existence, gives me a lift every time. I must admit that I am a weather gardener.   I hate wet and cold, so I sit in the conservatory planning watching the birds.  You don’t have to be a professional to enjoy gardening; pick up skills as you go along. So get out there and enjoy. S.G.
