Probably not the most exciting thing since sliced bread – but nonetheless important and so we are telling you about it!

Cherwell Local Plan is currently being examined in the council chamber at Bodicote House and development in villages will be dealt with on Thursday 18th December 9.30 am till 1.30 pm.

The revised plan increases the number of new houses allocated to villages. However – developers will be arguing that villages, especially what CDC describe as ‘sustainable villages’ like Bloxham can take far more than is being suggested.

You are entitled to attend should you so wish and we believe there will be overflow parking available at the Cricket Club opposite Bodicote House. If you do attend we are advised the council chamber is a bit on the cool side so be prepared and  take a sweater!
