Most people will be appalled at the random violence that took place in the recent London Bridge terrorist incident.
Today it emerged that one of the victims, Saskia Jones was a pupil at Bloxham School from where she went on to study psychology and criminology at Anglia Ruskin University before achieving a masters in criminology at Cambridge.
The two victims were both taking part in a prisoner rehabilitation conference Saskia Jones (23) as a volunteer and Jack Merritt (25) as conference coordinator.
We can only sympathise with those who knew them and reflect sadly upon the hideous waste represented by the appalling loss of such talented and positive young people.
