Mintondale Developments (Framptons) have re-submitted the application to build 85 houses on the Milton Road.
We’re not sure why – probably because they’ve missed a date set in the conditions by which they should have sorted things. Anyway – for whatever reason it has to be heard again by CDC Planning committee.
As far as I know people’s views haven’t changed from when Mr Pickles effectively told Bloxham residents to get lost and gave permission for this development.
If this is the case we really ought to let the planners know we are still here!
You can obviously object using a letter of your own but if you are too busy – here’s a one click objection that should create a ready-to-go email for most people.
You will need to add your name and address. Also feel free to tailor it before hitting the send button.

Items to highlight are:
- lack of primary school places for children from this site
- increase in traffic on the Milton Road from this site together with the two approvals in Adderbury
- Lack of compliance with the Planning Inspectors condition to submit a full application within one year
- Flooding and the aAbility of the drainage system to cope with additional houses.
- The fact Bloxham is already being developed at 12 times the normal rate for rural villages.
