Neighbourhood Plan Update – 22nd Sept 2016

As many will know the Bloxham Neighbourhood Plan has now passed all the stages en-route to the final hurdle:  the village referendum.

Cherwell District Council Executive approved the final plan on Sept 5th and we had hoped that they would have set a referendum date by now.
People have to have 28 days notice of a referendum and ongoing delay could push it into the pre-Christmas period which would not be good news for securing a good turn-out.

We will let you know as soon as we do receive a date.  In the meantime the next edition of the paper Broadsheet should carry a summary of the content of the plan so you will at least be able to get an idea of thre flavour of the document.   It’s really important residents turn out to vote  to enable us to  add this extra layer of protectection to our village.

The Oxford Mail has also carried an article on the Plan that you can access by clicking the graphic below.
