Thanks to all those who came and asked about the Neighbourhood Plan at ‘Apple Day.’
If, on November 3rd residents vote “yes” to the plan it becomes part of the local planning system and developers will have to take account of the policies within it to get planning permission.
The policies all stem from issues raised by residents either at meetings or via village questionnaires.
It includes policies about the size and style of new developments, the quality of parking and pavements, the need for downsize housing for an ageing population, protection of key views and spaces, fail-safe drainage systems, etc. etc. but these will only  become part of the local planning system if residents decide to vote “yes” for the Plan  on November 3rd.
You can download a full copy of the plan by clicking here or if you are pushed for time you can download just the policies by clicking here.
