Get involved

Every resident in our village has the right to be involved with the way the village is policed. No matter what your age, the police are here to support us. They need our help to make certain that the village we live in is a happy and safe place for everyone.
So, if you are a young person in the village, the Police would love to hear from you. Anything you want to tell them, from suggestions about Youth groups to complaints about boredom, they will do what they can to help. They can offer advice on all sorts of issues facing young people. In fact they have already set up youth groups and shelters in some of the villages, so imagine what they can do for ours! Lana and Nikki are always available for a chat about anything. In the same vein they would welcome ideas and inspiration from the older members of the community. Perhaps we feel that we would benefit from meeting the local police team at some function that is run e.g. luncheon club, etc. Is there a way in which they could make us feel safer? Please get in touch.
They are looking for all sorts of groups and communities to get involved in, from Neighbourhood Watch, to Village Hall Committees, and everything in between. They can do talks on crime prevention, drugs, anti-social behaviour and other issues that may come up during the meetings to provide us with an insight into how we can work together to make our village safer.
So, whoever you are, wherever you live, and whatever your age, please get in touch with the Police team.

Incidents
Whatever the incident, please do not hesitate to report it to the police, even if you feel they are not going to respond. Ask for the Crime number each time. This is the only way that we are going to get a continued police presence in our village. At present they feel that Bloxham is a crime spot and they wish to prevent it getting worse. I would be grateful to hear of incidents and the crime numbers given, so that the Parish Council can follow up if necessary. Parish Clerk
