  1. Thanks for taking the time to make all these comments.
I do hope you have all emailed or written to Cherwell Planning as that is what will make the difference.
There is a single-click link at the address below that should enter all the appropriate email addresses into your email for you. ….And do persuade as many other residents as possible to do the same thing!

I am opposed to the Barford Road Development because I think Bloxham has had quite enough of theses large scale developments for the time being. We have just had the two on the Milton Road! This will generate yet more traffic through the already busy village main road / create more chaotic parking problems at the village shops / and put a heavey strain on the primary school and doctors surgery.

Having just written to object strongly about Gladmans’ Barford Road application I did not include the boundary issue. Surely the fact that this site is outside Bloxham’s boundary should be sufficient grounds for permanent & outright refusal by CDC Planning. If this is not current Planning Framework policy then it should be.

Bloxham does not need more house building. Our schools and services cannot support existing numbers. These views were strenuously expressed by many at the Parish Council AGM. Assurances given by CDC at that meeting were clearly placatory and now ring hollow. The PC needs to convey its complete opposition and reject these applications.

I thought that CDC had already advised that ‘Bursting-at-the-seams-Bloxham’ had had more than it’s fair share of new development, so these applications need to be turned away.

  6. Mike Noad

We totally disapprove and oppose any more house building in Bloxham and would expect the Parish Council to register it`s disapproval to the CDC

  7. Geoff Mollard

WE ARE TOTALLY OPPOSED TO ANY FURTHER HOUSE BUILDING IN BLOXHAM AND WOULD EXPECT THE PARISH COUNCIL TO REGISTER ITS DISAPPROVAL TO THE CDC IF YOU REQUIRE OUR REASONS WE ARE QUITE PREPARED TO PROVIDE THEM
