This year is ‘Oxfordshire Centenary Year of the Red Cross’
In past years Di Mitchell has acted valiantly in organising the collection in Bloxham, but sadly is unable to continue to do so. Last year many roads went uncollected. If anyone can spare an hour or two to collect this year would they contact me as quickly as possible and I will arrange for a box to be supplied.
I appreciate that several collections take place at this time of year but it is a worthy cause and collectors usually receive a sympathetic response. The village collection has in the past made a very sizeable contribution both locally and internationally and is vital to the success of the Banbury Centre in Town Centre House, Southam Road.
