It is wonderful to see the doors and windows open again at the Red Lion, as work starts to bring it back to its proper state as a pub and restaurant.   After standing forlorn and boarded up for so long, it is very good news that Mark and Sandra Page have been able to purchase the building from Fullers and will put their experience to good use in restoring this building.

The Red Lion Hub’s dedicated efforts to prevent the site from being taken over by developers has meant that Bloxham should soon have a working pub again in the centre of the village.   A really nice change to see a pub being saved from closure after seeing so many being lost to communities.
