The fact that it was well past 10:00 pm did nothing to lessen the approval of Bloxham residents who continued to pack the Council Chamber of  Bodicote House as councillors turned down the application by Miller Homes to build a new estate directly opposite the primary school. None of the councillors voted for the proposal.

The proposed estate at the Adderbury end of the Milton Rd was also turned down.

So – one more round won – but we all know developers don’t go away quietly.

Still at least we can hope for a few weeks break now beffore the next set of  hearings and appeals!

Thanks to everyone who wrote objections or attended the hearings and especially to those parish and district councillors who once again spent hours trawling through the documents and producing responses on behalf of the community.
