Volunteers needed for Bloxham Girlguiding!
Are you looking for that something special and looking to help in your local community? Do you love interacting with young people and have 2 hours spare a week? We’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for volunteer Leaders for Bloxham Guides (age 10-14). They meet on Monday evenings 7-8.30pm.
Help create a world of new memories, adventures and friendships for girls, while giving them the skills for life. With Girlguiding, girls have fun, adventure and the space to discover their potential – inspiring the next generation makes you feel proud.
We need at least 2 adults volunteers to join our team and share the running of the much-needed Guide section in Bloxham.
No commitment is too small, if you’re unable to run weekly meetings but wish to help behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you too. No previous experience is needed, and full training and support is provided. The meetings are mainly weekly in the evening during term-time.
What’s in it for you?
Volunteering with Girlguiding is a brilliant way for you to get to try out a new role, build confidence and learn new skills and it looks great on your CV.
- Pass on your knowledge and skills and try out new ones
- Inspire the next generation
- Give back to the community
- Most importantly – it’s great fun!
