We now have spaces in our Beaver Colony (age 6 – 8 years,   Wednesday’s 5.30 – 6.30pm . See the website for details.

Please consider joining our volunteers to ensure the Colony can keep running – no experience needed and our volunteers get as much out of it as the children!

The Scout Section continues to go from strength to strength and also has places. (10.5 – 14 years, meeting on Thursday’s 7 – 8.30pm).

We had a very successful AGM in November where the achievements of our Beaver and Scout Groups were celebrated.
What an incredible range of activities they have enjoyed in the last year. Many congratulations to all those who were awarded badges and Hamish Labuda who was presented with the Gold Chief Scouts challenge award, Scouts highest available award.
Also, congratulations to Toby Cotton who received his award a couple of weeks later.
Finally, Graham Duckworth received his 25-year service award, having stepped in to become the Scout leader when it was going to close. Still doing that role but also now the lead volunteer for the group. Many young people have benefited learning new skills, having fun and making friends – he has really enjoyed it too!
