Bloxham Guides is restarting! We are excited to announce that Bloxham Guides will be restarting soon with a new leader. We are looking forward to welcoming Guides (age 10-14) back in the village, joining our popular Rainbow and Brownie units.
We are looking for another volunteer to help run the weekly Guide meetings with our new Leader. These meetings are the heart of Girlguiding, you’ll help run activities and give the girls fun, friendship, challenges and adventure. If this isn’t for you, we also need help with admin and accounts. We’re also looking for another adult volunteer to help at Rainbows (age 4-7), to be the extra pair of hands each week to make meetings happen. Both units have waiting lists and we would like to be able to offer more girls the opportunity to join us.
No commitment is too small, if you’re unable to run weekly meetings but wish to help behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you too. No previous experience is needed and full training and support is provided. The meetings are weekly in the evening during term-time, while the admin role can be done in your own time to suit you.
What’s in it for you?
- Volunteering with Girlguiding is a brilliant way for you to get to try out a new role, build confidence and learn new skills and it looks great on your CV.
