Residents raised issues

The petitions re closure of the gap between Winters Way and The Avenue. Highways have now said that it depends on ownership of the top end of the pathway which appears to be owned by Charter Housing.

Siting of Benches:

Most replies had indicated to be not in favour of the proposed placements. It was decided to repair the benches at end of Winters Way and in Courtington Lane, and to site a bench on the opposite side of the road to that proposed at Milton Road/Barford Rd junction, and to explore possibility of bench being sited near to Primary School.

Flooding:

Clerk had a reply from Chief Executive at CDC acknowledging that soakage trench off Courtington Lane had received little maintenance over past 15 years, but would now ensure that it did so.
