Nine Parish Councillors were present. Cllrs Mitchell. Heath and Thirzie Smart were present for part of meeting. No Residents were present.

The drop onto Cumberford Hill has been referred on to ‘Safety at School”.

Japanese Knotweed in village: Contractor will do third spray as requested.

Reports from County and District Councillors: Cllr Heath was welcomed back af his illness. All in different ways expressed concern about amount of housing bei developed in Bloxham.

Accident in Church St: Transcript of Coroner’s Court to be obtained; Electrical Services are looking at cost of implementing extra street lighting in that area.

Applications: Conservatory for 48 Winters Way, Demolish and Rebuild ‘Milkinj Parlour’ for Bloxham Grove Farm, Extension to 1 Quarry Close, Removing trees etc for Old Wells, Chapel St, Glazed Canopy for Nayland Farm, Smoking Gazeb for Bloxham Mill Business Centre, Reduction of Willow Tree for Willow Bank, High St – Parish Council had no objection to these. Conversion of garage for Whettons Yard, Chapel St: While in principle no objection, concern expressed about unofficial building another house, and no parking.

Decisions from CDC

: Front Porch for 12 Strawberry Hill, 21 lowland luminaries at Dewey Sports Ceni Agreed subject to conditions.

Finance: Audited accounts to be with external auditor by end of June

Annual Meeting of Village/Parish to be at Jubilee Hall on 25th April at 7.30pm

Date and Time of Next Meeting: 14th April 2008 at 7.30pm. The agenda is posted on the Notice boards in the village before this. Any resident can attend and if there are any issues they wish to raise, this can be done at the beginning of the meeting.
