We have had a fantastic start to the new school year here at Bloxham Pre-School. The children have settled in well, especially those who had previously attended Little Pre-School and already knew our routine well. The staff are also enjoying getting to know the new children as well as their families.
This term our topic has been ‘Ourselves’. The children have been looking at their appearance and have all enjoyed painting their self portraits which are on display in the classroom. The children have been discovering what each other like to do as well as learning about each other’s families and thinking about the food we eat.
After half term the topic is stories and celebrations, where the children will be busy learning the songs for their first nativity play – an exciting event for children and parents alike.
This term we would like to give a big thank you to Mr Avery at Bloxham Mill for donating all the used ink cartridges for us to recycle. This has given us funds to buy various resources to enhance the children’s learning.
