What a lovely month we have had at Pre School. The children came back from the half term very settled with lots to tell us about their adventures. Some children went pumpkin picking whilst others spent time with their family baking pumpkin shaped cookies.

This past month we have celebrated lots of festivities within Pre School. The children enjoyed learning about the “Festival of Light’. We watched a small clip of a family celebrating Diwali. The children were fascinated by the colours, the clothing and the food from the celebration. This led us on to creating lots of lovely ‘firework’ pictures full of colour and sparkle! The children had a lovely time discussing their own experiences of firework displays they had attended with their families..

On the 11th November, we walked with the children to ‘Godswell Care Home’ where the children joined in with the ‘Remembrance Service celebrations and the 11am silence. The children thoroughly enjoyed their time with the residents who as always were very welcoming.

We have ended this month preparing for our Christmas Nativity which the children are very excited for.
