Welcome to Bloxham Pre School. We had a bittersweet end to Term 6 as we said ‘goodbye’ to our previous Manager, Debbie Davies who has been the bricks and mortar of Bloxham Pre School for so many years. I have now taken over as Manager and I am very excited to see what the futures holds for our village Pre School.

This Term, we welcomed a new set of children and their families to Bloxham Pre School along with our children from last year who stayed with us for another year and they have settled very well. Our Topic for Term 1 2025 is ‘Getting to know me and my family’. The children brought in photos of their family members and people that are special to them. We then created a beautiful ‘family tree’ in our Pre School room for the children to look at daily. They have also been exploring colour and extending their communication and language with the members of staff by painting a picture of their family members.

It has been lovely to see them settle in so well to the new academic year and we are looking forward to watching them grow as the weeks progress.

At the end of this term, we will be celebrating ‘Harvest’ and the children will make ‘Harvest Hats’ using paint and vegetables to print. We will talk about what ‘Harvest’ is and we will be joining Bloxham Primary School for a ‘Harvest Festival’, learning new songs along the way.
