A team from Bloxham WI recently entered the WI county quiz and gained first place, continuing the winning streak from previous years!
We took part in the May Farmer’s Market, providing refreshments and selling a variety of preserves and baked goods on our stall. We were very pleased to raise £490 towards our 2 charities of the year, “Standing in the Gap” and “Be free Young Carers”.

At the meeting to discuss the 2 resolutions on the need for accessible public toilets and women’s homelessness, we held a competition for a character(s) made from a toilet roll tube. The winner was a birthday homage to Sir David Attenborough.

We will be holding our annual Aunt Sally evening at the Elephant and Castle later this month and in August we do not have a meeting but have an outing, this year to Stourbridge Glass Museum.

We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Jubilee Park Hall at 7.30pm
