In December we shall be supporting the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign which runs from 25th November to 10th December. Throughout this campaign, we join with over 6000 organisations from over 185 countries to raise awareness of and call for an end to gender based violence and abuse in the UK and across the world, in all forms and in all societies. Our service in St Mary’s Church on Tuesday 3rd December at 11 30am will focus on this issue. As always, everyone is welcome to join in, especially if you are affected in any way by this.

Our meeting in December will be on the 2nd Tuesday in the month, Tuesday 10th December, and it will be our Christmas social gathering in the Parish Rooms.

We shall have a tree at the Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary’s 6th-8th December, so please come and find out more about Mothers’ Union world-wide there.

Our January meeting will be on Tuesday 21st January at 2 30pm in the Parish Rooms, with a speaker tbc. All welcome.
