Cherwell Choral Society have a concert on Saturday April 4th at Deddington Church at 7.30.
They will be singing A Season to Sing, by Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, a choral re-imagining of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
She weaves into the well-loved melodies texts from poetry and the Bible, on the subject of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
They are also singing A Winter Day, by the Canadian composer Sarah Quartel, evoking the composer’s memories of a land deep in snow.
Tickets £18 on the door or online. Under 16s free
