Several members of Bloxham Wi met with members from Shutford, Hornton and District and Cropredy Wi to enjoy a delicious Thai inspired meal prepared by one of Cropredy’s members at a Group Meeting. The meal was followed by a very interesting talk about members of the suffragette movement, several of whom became early influencers in the Women’s Institute as well as agitating for votes for women.

Our December meeting will give us the opportunity learn about the art of burlesque, with a chance to participate, under the tutelage of “Miss Cherry Buns”! We will also enjoy some festive drinks and mince pies.

At the start of the New Year we will hold our Annual dinner and have an afternoon social meeting. Some members will also be going to see the musical “Cinderella” in Oxford, performed by OXOPS.

We welcome visitors to the monthly meetings held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Jubilee Park Hall.
