Sarah Reay: “The Half-Shilling Curate”
Sarah tells the inspiring story of her grandfather, Rev Herbert Cowl, an army chaplain on the Western Front during World War 1, drawing on her very well-reviewed book and research into his personal letters and writings. For her book, see https://www.amazon.co.uk/
Ian Myson: “My Dad, his feet, and the Cold War”
Ian tells an intriguing tale of military propaganda, superpower rivalry and extraordinary footwear.
Rod Wallington: “Humorous verse of different periods”
Rod, a noted connoisseur of the droll and well-turned phrase, shares, and comments on, some of his favourite verse.
