According to the Banbury Guardian Peter Smith died at his home in Milton Road Thursday April 14 the day before his 78th birthday.
He had suffered ill health for some years but his death was unexpected. Our condolences to the family.
According to the Guardian, the funeral is scheduled for ‘next Friday’ at 12:00 pm. Having checked – this means Friday 29th April NOT Friday 22nd.
The funeral cortege will involve the family walking behind the coffin from the Smith’s Farm on Milton Road to St Mary’s Church, Bloxham for the funeral and similarly back to the Smith’s Farm after the funeral so one can expect road closures and/or delays probably from 11:30 to 12:00 and again from 1:30 – 2:00pm. You may need to plan around this.
