The Warriner School Needs Local Artists

On Saturday 30th June, 11.00am – 3.30pm the Warriner School will be holding an art event called ‘Made In Oxfordshire’. The aim of this event is to showcase the talent of local artists, craftsmen and women and also the work of the next generation of artists – our local students. In addition to this our student council are coordinating a ‘Ruby Bonanza’ as part of the celebration of 40 year of The Warriner School. Throughout the day there will be: Live music, drama, dance, poetry, sports, arts and crafts workshop, stalls, ‘Wild in Art’ rhino trail, BBQ selling the Warriner Farm’s produce, tea and cakes and much more.
Not only are we hoping the local community will come and support us on the day we are looking for local Artists, Designers and Crafts men and women to exhibit at the event. We are proposing that ‘Made in Oxfordshire’ will be an annual event to help promote the arts in Oxfordshire and raise greatly needed funding to help support the Arts in The Warriner School. We have many talented artists at the School. For the last two years we have entered the Saatchi School competition and each year we have made it through to the finals. Indeed this year of the 20 student’s work that was exhibited at the gallery, from all that submitted in the UK, we had two students work through to the final and included.
What’s it going to cost to Exhibit?
We have kept this as low as we can to try and help us all in these difficult times.
