Oxfordshire County Council unanimously approved the introduction of post-16 education at Warriner and the school has now submitted plans to Cherwell District Council for a single-storey building with four classrooms and a common room.
New courses will be phased in: from September the offer will consist of the opportunity to study a combination of A level Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Further Maths or a diploma in Animal Management or Agriculture in partnership with OCVC.
Warriner has been keen to run it’s own sixth form ever since it was founded some 40 years ago.
For admission to the new sixth form – see here.
